6ポジション遮光性フィルターホイール(LFTW6)は、手動フィルターホイールが迷光を完全に遮光できるように設計されています。外側のカバーが迷光を防ぐので、PMTのような光に敏感なディテクタを扱う計測システムに適しています。

フィルターホイールには、SM1ネジ切り加工付きフィルターホルダが6つあります。厚さが6.4 mmまでのØ25 mm～Ø25.4 mm(Ø1インチ)の平らな光学素子を保持することができます。右の写真に示すように、回転機構はヒンジカバーの下にあります。このホイールには、フィルタを様々な位置へ回転しやすいようにギザギザのエッジがあります。また、ホイールの縁にはフィルタの位置が分かる番号が刻印されています。適切なフィルタを設置したら、カバーに付いた磁石でカバーをしっかりと閉じます。フィルターホイールは、バネ式戻り止め機構を採用しています。これにより、フィルタはそれぞれの場所に固定され、開口の中心に位置します。

外側のカバーには入力と出力用の開口があり、それぞれSM1内ネジ加工施されています。開口の周囲には、30 mmケージシステム用ロッドを取り付ける為の#4-40止まり穴があります。入力用と出力用の開口へSM1シリーズレンズチューブを取り付けることで、遮光システムを構築することができます。 SM1ネジはカバーを貫通しているため、取り付ける部品の外ネジの長さは3 mm以下(SM1外ネジ付きØ25 mm～Ø25.4 mm(Ø1インチ)光学素子用レンズチューブのような部品)としてください。外ネジ長さが長いと損傷するおそれがあります。

筐体の後ろにあるプレートは、フィルタを挿入するときや、取り除く時に外します。このプレートは3つの丸頭ネジでしっかりと固定されていて、1.3 mm六角レンチでゆるめることができます。下の右の2つの写真がこの様子を示しています。フィルタをホイールに固定するために、6つの固定リングSM1RRが付属しています。固定リングは、SM1シリーズのスパナレンチを用いて締めることができます。

フィルターホイールの底部には、M6 x 0.5ネジ切り加工が施されていますが、ポスト取付け用のM4ネジ切り加工が施されたアダプタも付いています。アダプタは追加で別途お買い求めいただけます(詳細については、当社までご連絡ください)。

I have several of these LTFW6 filter wheels on field-able optical systems. In a short time the screws have rusted due to environmental exposure (salt air). Could you please send me the screw sizes for the filter replacement cover and the main cover so I can procure stainless steel screws and replace? Thanks

Response from Chris at Thorlabs: The filter access panel is held on by three 1/8" long, #2-56 threaded, button head cap screws. The back cover is held on by four 3/16"long, #4-40 threaded, button head cap screws.

Hi there! how good is the positioning repeatility of the filter wheel? Is it possible / advisable to use this filter wheel as manual pinhole exchanger in confocal microscopy? Then a repeatability for ~30µm should be given...

Response from Sean at Thorlabs: Thank you for using our feedback tool. Unfortunately we do not have the repeatability specification for our filter wheels. These items were designed for filters, where the centerline repeatability does not need to be as tightly controlled as needed for your application. If you would like to test the LTFW6 in your application, you may always purchase it and return it if you find it is not what you are looking for.
