Software for the MX10C and MX40C Optical Transmitters Series

The Remote Control Tool is an example of an application for the Windows® operating system that enables computer control of the MX10C or MX40C Series via the USB or RS-232 port. This application is provided for testing, demonstration, and instructional purposes, and it can also be used as the basis for developing custom applications.

Please contact Tech Support if you would like to request assistance, the source code, or if you are interested in information about other options for controlling these optical transmitters. For example, we would be happy to send you a document describing control via RS-232 using LabVIEW™. In addition, we can provide the documentation of and source code for simple projects our developers have created to demonstrate control using Python for Windows, via both RS-232 and USB, and using C# for Windows, via USB.
