  • INT-POL-1300の動作波長範囲は、使用されている2つの偏光ビームスプリッタの帯域幅によって決まります。このビームスプリッタの中心波長は 1310 nm、動作帯域幅は +/-40 nmです(詳細はマニュアルをご参照ください)。他の波長範囲もご提供可能ですので、当社までお問い合わせください。

INT- POL-1300には1組の差分ディテクタが内蔵されており、2つの入力信号のSとPの偏光状態(SOP)が個別に解析できます。このコンパクトなシステムは、偏光感受型の光コヒーレンストモグラフィ(OCT)用に設計されましたが、2つの信号間の差を高感度に解析する必要のある用途にもご使用いただけます。

差分レシーバの機能

入力光は、偏光ビームスプリッタ(PBS)でSとPの偏光状態に分岐されます。分岐された入力光は、2つの差分ディテクタに、その偏光状態(SOP)別に入力されます。これらの差分光検出器は、当社のPDB400シリーズのOCT用差分ディテクタと同じように動作します。検出器は、2つの光学入力信号の差分を取り、コモンモードノイズが除去されます。この結果、各SOPのノイズの中から、信号光路での小さな変化を抽出できます。

ノイズの低減

これらのレシーバは、2つの差分ディテクタと、超低ノイズの高速なトランスインピーダンス増幅器から構成されています。最新の設計技術を取り入れることで、2つの差分ディテクタの光路整合を改善して優れたコモンモード除去を実現し、ノイズの低減効果が改善されます。さらに、差分ディテクタには、アクティブローパスフィルタがあるので、エイリアシング効果を防ぎ、帯域外のノイズを効果的に抑制できます。

コネクタ

光信号は、2つのFC/APC入力コネクタを介してフォトダイオードに入射されます。ユニットには、6つのSMA出力の電気コネクタがあり、それぞれの偏光 状態に対し、3つの出力コネクタが対応しています。つまり3つがS偏光状態用で3つがP偏光状態用です。3つの出力コネクタのうちの1つが、差分信号を供給し、残りの2つがパワーモニタ出力になります。モニタ出力によって、各ディテクタへの入力パワーレベルの個別制御と、各チャンネル用のSOP入力の個別 調整が可能になります。このデバイスにはDC入力コネクタを介して、DC±12 Vが供給されます。

パッケージと電源供給

本製品は、シールドされた頑丈なアルミニウムの筐体に収納されています。電源は、この製品に付属の±12 V　DC電源から供給されています。

また当社では、差分ディテクタ付きのファイバ方式の干渉計もご用意しています。

Please make a silicon version as well as high-speed! This is a fantastic product, taking the place of the analyzation optics too. Absolutely perfect for monitoring polarization changes. Almost does all of the work for you.

Response from Javier at Thorlabs to acable: The limitation of the operating wavelength range of the INT-POL-1300 module is determined by the bandwidth of the two polarization beamsplitters used. The central wavelength of these beamsplitters is 1310nm, with a +/-40 nm operating bandwidth.(See page 6 of the manual: http://www.thorlabs.com/Thorcat/19300/19384-D02.pdf). We may be able to offer versions of the INT-POL module for other wavelength ranges. You can contact techsupport@thorlabs.com for details.

Please explain why the two wavelength ranges in the specifications table, the 1270 to 1350 nm is much narrower than the 800 to 1700 nm given for the detector. Is the PBS the limiting component, can this be changed by using a broadband beamsplitter.
