止めネジ(セットスクリュ)
止めネジは、ステンレススチール製あるいは合金鋼製で、様々な工業規格でご用意しております。標準的な合金鋼製止めネジに加え、傷がつきにくいナイロンチップや真鍮チップと、ポストやマウントから取り外しやすいよう六角ソケットが両端についたダブルエンドの止めネジもご提供しています。真空用途向けの通気口付き止めネジは、M4 x 0.7、M6 x 1.0、#8-32、1/4"-20ネジでご用意しています。詳細は下表をご覧ください。
つまみネジ
M6 x 1.0ならびに1/4"-20のつまみネジは、先端がバネ付きまたは真空対応仕上げでご用意しており、当社のØ12 mm～Ø1/2インチ(Ø12.7 mm)ポストホルダのつまみネジの代替品となります。先端がバネ付きのつまみネジは単体、また1パック5個入りで販売しております。

(posted 2024-03-13 09:23:27.643) Hi, I have a KM100 kinematic mirror mount and i lost the tiny setscrew that blocks the mirror in place, the setscrew located at the diagonal corner. I looked at the AutoCAD PDF to find its specification and i think it's the "8-32 NYLON-TIPPED SETSCREW
5/64in [2.0mm] HEX" at the top left side of the CAD drawing.
I have found several setscrews (SS8N013/SS8N019/SS8N038) that seem to be the one i'm looking for. But i did'nt find the correct length of the setscrew for my mirror mount anywhere so I don't know which setscrew to buy... Could you tell me which setscrew(s) work ? jdelia

You should not make a screw that is too delicate to be tightened. llamb
(posted 2019-07-26 09:35:12.0) Thank you for your feedback. The recommended maximum torque for the TS25H is 28 in·lbs (3.2 N·m). Please note that we do not recommend using an L wrench to tighten the thumbscrew, as this may break off the screw head. The hollow design allows for the spring-loaded retractable tip to be installed, which is often helpful in final positional adjustments of posts. Otherwise, you can also consider the stock SS4S025, which is 1/16" longer and can also be used in the CP12. このアルマイト加工アルミニウム製つまみネジには、バネが組み込まれたDelrin®*チップが付いており、最終的な位置調整を行なうまでポストの位置をしっかりと保持します。 その後5 mm(TS6H/M用)ボール(六角)ドライバを用いて、ポストが動かないようにしっかり固定できます。 ボールドライバのサイズは、つまみネジ部分に刻印されているので識別が簡単です。
TS6H/MにはM6 x 1.0ネジが付いており、当社のØ12 mm～Ø12.7 mm(Ø1/2インチ)ポストホルダにそれぞれ対応しています。推奨最大トルクは3.2 N·mです。 ネジの頭がつぶれる可能性があるので、つまみネジの締付けにL型六角レンチの使用はお勧めいたしません。
バネ付きチップ無しのつまみネジをご要望の場合は、下でご紹介している真空対応つまみネジをお勧めいたします。 あるいは、1.5 mmのボールドライバを用いてつまみネジ前面にある止めネジ(セットスクリュ)を緩め、チップを取り外すこともできます。 1番右の写真で示されている順序で、バネとチップを取り外すことができます。 ただし、その際つまみネジの接触面の中央には穴が開き、真空対応つまみネジの接触面とは異なった形体になります。
つまみネジは1個、または5個入りのパッケージで別売しています。
