温度制御機能付きブレッドボードPTC1/Mは、TEC素子およびアクティブ‐エア型冷却装置を使用して仕様範囲内の任意の温度に保持することができます。ユニットは27.0 mm x 101.6 mm x 62.5 mmのコンパクトな筐体で、内蔵のTEC、コントローラ、サーミスタ、遠心ファン、ヒートシンクによって温度管理されています。内部のTEC素子は双極の駆動が可能なため、表面に取り付けた部品を加熱することも冷却することもできます。ブレッドボードを周囲温度に設定した場合、最大18 Wの熱負荷に対応可能です。
ブレッドボードの温度は前面パネルのノブを使用して制御できます。このモードでは、温度は15 °C～45 °Cの間で設定できます。設定温度の0.1 °C以内に達するとユニットは安定化されます。また、ユニットが付属のUSBケーブルでPCに接続されている時は、前面パネルのスイッチを切り換えて、PTC1/M用のソフトウェアを使用して駆動できます。ソフトウェアは「ソフトウェア」タブからダウンロードいただけます。この場合、温度は5 °C～45 °Cの間で0.1 °Cの精度で設定できます。ソフトウェアはサーミスタの数値を0.001 °Cの精度で表示します。温度安定化ウィンドウで設定を行ったり、デバイスのPID設定を個別に調整したりすることもできます。ユニットをソフトウェアで制御している時は、前面パネルでの制御は無効となります。
PTC1/MではTECコントローラMTD1020Tが使用されています。USBをPCに接続すると、PTC1/Mをコマンドラインインターフェイスで駆動するか独自のプログラムで制御するかを選択できます。その際、ユニットの温度は5 °C～45 °Cの間で設定することが可能です。コマンドラインインターフェイスを起動する前に、付属のドライバをインストールし、ユニットの電源を入れ、そしてUSBケーブルでデバイスをホストPCにつなげてください。コマンドラインインターフェイスを使用中は、ソフトウェアGUIを使用しないでください。
ユニットには温度をモニタするための内部サーミスタが付属します。ただし、外部温度ブローブTSP-THを前面パネルの2.5 mmステレオジャックに接続することも可能です。これにより、ブレッドボードの下面で温度を測定せずに、温度センサをシステム内の特定の場所に設置することができます。
上面の寸法は27.0 mm x 101.6 mmで、M6タップ穴が20個、M4タップ穴が43個配列されています。タップ穴のパターンは当社のミニシリーズブレッドボードと等しく、M6タップ穴は25 mm間隔、M4タップ穴は12.5 mm間隔で配置されています。ユニット底部にはゴム製の脚が4本付いています。また、Ø25 mm(1インチ)ポスト、Ø38 mm(Ø1.5インチ)ポストやその他のオプトメカニクス部品を使用してユニットを光学テーブルに固定するための、M6タップ穴も4個あります。さらに、ユニットをブレッドボード面と垂直方向に取り付けるためのM4タップ穴がブレッドボードの側面に沿って11個あります。
このユニットは12 VDC、4 Aの入力電圧によって駆動されます。電源アダプタ、日本国内対応の電源コードおよびUSBケーブルが付属します。 交換用の電源もご用意しております。

安定温度(stabilized temperature)(つまり、TECによって安定化されたブレッドボードの温度)を設定した時に、このグラフで対応する熱負荷(heat load)の値は、ユニットが消費できる最大熱負荷を示しています。これに対し、熱負荷(heat load)を設定した時に、このグラフで対応する安定温度(stabilized temperature)は、ユニットが達成可能な最小安定化温度を示します。データは周囲温度25 °Cで測定されました。

(posted 2023-05-19 13:12:41.117) I am interested in the PTC1, but I would like to go to a higher temperature. Up to 80-90C would be ideal, but even 50-60C would be very useful.

We intended to cool the board to about 5℃, but when using the GUI, we kept getting the alert that "TEC current was no more too long time on the limit without influence on the temperature" and the lowest achievable temperature seemed to be 15℃. What is going wrong? YLohia

Please see the "PTC1(/M) Thermal Management" curve on the "Specs" tab.
